Porch Swing Sets
Consists of two deluxe ceiling hooks and two "Y" type assemblies packaged in a poly bag. Each assembly consists of two 1/0 x 27" Double Loop chains and one 2/0 x 54" chain connected with a ¼ x 2¼ S-Hook.
Consider Double Loop chain inside an extruded vinyl sleeve as an alternative swing chain.
Intended for residential use only.
Do not use on playgrounds or
commercial applications. Do not install in live trees. Maximum load limit for the two assemblies holding the swing MUST NEVER EXCEED 500 LBS.

AND SWING SET REQUIREMENTS:
We specialize in chain to the swing industry and have been a major supplier to the porch swing industry for years. We have developed a superior Double Loop chain for the swing industry utilizing a special chemistry steel wire. Our 1/0 Double Loop maintains a 1,000 to 1,200 lb. breaking strength whereas 800 lbs is the industry standard. Our 2/0 Double Loop maintains a 1,300 to 1,500 lb. breaking strength whereas 1,020 lbs. is the industry standard. Our swing chain is also formulated to withstand a twist test of 40 - 180° twists under a 200 lb. load that ordinary chain fails.
Our tests on other domestic and foreign sources of 1/0 Double Loop chain show them meeting the 800 lb. minimum breaking strength (although less than the 1,000 lbs. that is our minimum). And most importantly, the chain from these sources always fail the twist test. Generally, chain from these sources will break after just 2 or 3 twists, whereas our goes 70 to 90 twists before breaking. The products liability potential, therefore, is great if this chain twisted under stress by the consumer. Our twist test duplicates what occurs when swing chain is twisted round and round (as a child will do) as opposed to the normal movement back and forth. Once the chain is twisted a kink will occur. All the forces of the swing action is then applied to the kink. As the motion continues chain failure will occur. The occupant will be spilled to the ground and could sustain possible injuries.
